Willemstad:
The “Cultureel Comité Fortkerk” and the “Curaçaosche Kunstkring” have the honor of presenting to you the great “3 BARITONES” concert on Valentine’s Day, February 14th 2011 in the HYATT REGENCY Hotel ballroom.
These 3 famous virtuosos and well-liked Dutch baritones are:
ERNST DANIEL SMID (known to you among others from the very popular TV program “UNA VOCE PARTICOLARE”),
HENK POORT (among others of the PHANTOM OF THE OPERA and REMBRANDT)
MARCO BAKKER (among others of the musical: CATS).

The three recently concluded a very successful two-year tour that took them throughout the Netherlands.
In this program, they will be presenting numbers from operas, operettas, arias, film melodies, negro spirituals and Latin American songs, accompanied by orchestra bands of the symphony orchestra “L’Orchestra Particolare” (known from the TV program: Una Voce Particolare) under the direction of the young star conductor Maurice Littikhuis).

In 2011 the “CULTUREEL COMITÉ FORTKERK” (CCF) commemorates the fact that it was set up in October 1991 with the object: to organize cultural activities, the proceeds of which go entirely to the maintenance fund of “De Fortkerk” monument (dating from 1769).
During the whole year we will celebrate the 20th anniversary of our existence with concerts, at which both international and local artists will perform.

In Bonaire, the Bonaire Classical Board Foundation will organize the 3 Baritones concert on February 16th 2011 on the beach at the Plaza Resort (Tipsy Seagull Restaurant); commencement at 19:30 hours. Tickets $35.
Supporting acts: Choir and “Tuti Frutti” dance group who will also be performing together with the 3 baritones singing Antillean songs. On February 17th there will be a workshop for singers. The possibility of holding a school concert is currently being studied.

In ARUBA Ernst Daniel Smid and Marco Bakker will perform in the Cas di Cultura on February 20th in a concert organized by the “Arubaanse Kunstkring”. At 19.00 hours. Tickets fl.50.
Henk Poort must be back in the Netherlands on February 18th due to other commitments.
